KENOVA LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Welcome to Kenova WVPumpkin HouseKenova is the home to the nationally recognized "Pumpkin House" operated by City Mayor Ric Griffith and his wife Sandy at their home in Kenova. The annual event has grown to display over 3000 custom carved pumpkins, each completely unique. The display has been featured on such nationally recognized television programs such as the "Ellen Degeneres Show". Each year hundreds of volunteers help with the carving of the pumpkins, making this truly an activity for all ages both young and old.

Mitch StadiumThe cities of Ceredo & Kenova are proud to be the hom of the legendary "Mitch Stadium" baseball field. "The Mitch" was the proud home of the 2009 Little League World Series regional playoffs. The event hosted teams from all over the United States and was broadcast nationally on ESPN. Participating teams came from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The event brought national recognition to the fine baseball tradition in the communities of Ceredo & Kenova.

Dreamland PoolDreamland Pool is owned and operated by the City of Kenova and Parks & Recreation Board. Dreamland opened it's doors in 1926 to the public and has been providing safe, fun, family entertainment to the local area ever since.

Wonder DomeKenova's "Wonder Dome" gymnasium is home to the "Key-Player" developmental basketball league, owned and operated by founder Mark Cisco. "Key Player" also offers private instructional lessons as well as various instructional DVD's and accessories.
